A Hong Kong–based apparel company specializing in fashion merchandising and manufacturing support for international markets. With a strong focus on quality, product development, and execution, the company works closely with global customers to deliver trend‑driven apparel products across ladies’ and men’s wear is looking for an experienced Merchandising Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage end‑to‑end merchandising activities including product development, costing, sampling, production follow‑up, and shipment

  • Oversee knit high‑fashion for both ladies’ and men’s wear, ensuring alignment with brand positioning and quality expectations

  • Work closely with design, production, QA, and logistics teams to drive timelines, quality, and execution excellence

  • Act as a key contact for US overseas customers, clearly understanding and managing their quality standards, compliance requirements, and delivery timelines

  • Monitor production schedules and proactively resolve issues related to quality, cost, or delivery risks

  • Build and maintain strong working relationships with customers, suppliers, and factories to support ongoing business growth

  • Provide day‑to‑day leadership and guidance to merchandising team members as required

Requirements

  • Minimum 8 years of solid apparel merchandising experience, with at least 3 years at managerial or supervisory level

  • Strong exposure to knit high‑fashion products for ladies’ and men’s wear
    (Candidates whose experience is mainly in mass‑market or non‑high‑end labels will not be a fit)

  • Background from garment trading companies or buying offices is highly preferred, with direct customer‑facing experience

  • Proven track record in product development through bulk production and delivery

  • Hands‑on experience serving US customers, with strong understanding of overseas market expectations

  • Excellent time management and problem‑solving skills; able to manage multiple styles and timelines under pressure

  • Proficient in written and spoken English

  • Able to communicate in Mandarin

  • Mature, proactive, presentable, and able to work independently in a fast‑paced environment

  • Willing to travel as required
